Shanti was the name I gave the character in this my last completed project. Done many years ago (1990), I hope to one day soon to get back into sketching and maybe improve whatever skill I have left. I've almost always worked with pencil, sometime black ink, almost never color, color and I don't get along well.

Shanti was to be sitting at a small wooden table in the corner of some tavern when approached by a bounty hunter. The sex and race of Shanti was left as ambiguous as I could. The 'thing' on the head and covering part of the face is a special skullcap made just for that purpose, while there are many ways the leather could have been done, this was the way I went. The 'hump' on Shanti's back was mainly for disquise as when Shanti was startled by the dagger Shanti sat straight up.

I really need to find the original drawing again and scan it using a more modern scanner, this was done on my Amiga 500 when the Amiga was at the top of computing power.
